The OG Analog Producer from Sealand, HKV’s inside joke for Zeeland, The Netherlands

For this edition, we sat down with Speedfolter, the OG analog producer from Sealand (HKV’s inside joke for Zeeland, The Netherlands) who has been connected to the HKV crew for many years.
On July 18, he returns to the HKV Stage at Dominator Festival 2026, this time performing together with his Sealand brother Mordekaiser. It will be his second appearance on the stage.
Back in 2003 or 2004, Speedfolter bought Darkcore 3 at Free Record Shop. The second disc contained a mix by Akira, and one track immediately stood out: Fuck Bass by Nukom.
After some research, he discovered it was released on the very first HKV EP.
Many years later, while heavily intoxicated in a hotel bathtub, Speedfolter messaged Kin with the idea to make an old school terror track together for This Is Madness. Kin replied almost immediately:
The track never happened, but the conversation eventually led to their first studio session together and the creation of Square Acid, which later came out on vinyl.
When asked which HKV release means the most to him, there was no hesitation.
For Speedfolter, the entire EP is legendary — but Fuck Bass remains the track that best captures what he loves about HKV.
This summer, Speedfolter returns to the HKV Stage at Dominator Festival. This time he will perform together with Mordekaiser.
It will be his second time on the HKV stage.
For Speedfolter, this freedom to experiment across different styles is one of the main reasons HKV has remained relevant for so long.
From visiting the HKV stage at his first Dominator almost two decades ago, to doing studio sessions with Kin, to closing the HKV stage in Germany — the connection runs deep.
It’s a small and simple item, but one that has stayed with him through many years. While most people collect posters or records, Speedfolter’s favorite piece of HKV history is something he actually uses — a quiet but genuine reminder of how deep his connection to the crew really is.
Speedfolter has been part of the HKV story for many years — as a fan, as an artist, and as someone who has seen the movement grow from the early days.
