About
Based in Tokyo, Japan, Coretex is a Hardcore and UK Hardcore artist known for his relentless blend of Hardcore, Hip Hop, Hard Techno and Breakcore. Active as a DJ since 2017, his uncompromising energy and diverse musical approach have earned him recognition both in Japan and across the international hardcore scene.
Artist bio
As the organiser of RADICAL, one of Japan’s leading Hardcore Techno events, Coretex has helped strengthen the country’s underground scene by bringing internationally respected artists to Japan while continuing to develop his own career as both a DJ and producer.
His discography includes releases on Hong Kong Violence, PRSPCT Recordings, Nekrolog1k Recordings, Prototypes Records, Sealand Recordings and Gabber Industries Berlin. He has performed throughout Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, China and the Netherlands.
Following appearances on ABEMA TV, Coretex made history as the first Japanese artist to perform at Dominator Festival twice, appearing on the HKV Stage in both 2024 and 2026.
